Resource Management Coordinator

Acts as a liaison between the Disaster Case Managers and the Unmet Needs Committee. Ensures requests meet funding criteria. Schedules meetings and presents requests to the Hoʻōla iā Mauiakama-LTRG Board for approval. Submits invoices and requisitions for payment.

PAY RATE: $52,000


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates meetings and all activities involved with Disaster Related Case Management ensuring that resources are utilized as effectively as possible in meeting the needs of those affected by the wildfires.
  • Receives needs assessment surveys and referrals.
  • Reviews cases submitted and vets with disaster case managers.
  • Assists Unmet Needs Committee in calling meetings and maintaining records of meetings.
  • Monitors pending cases progress, acts as a resource to partner agencies and disaster case managers.  
  • Works with funding agencies and coordinates training for disaster case managers, maintaining a list of trained individuals.
  • Provide a comprehensive listing of all unmet needs requests submitted, granted and denied.  Submits invoices and requisitions for payment.
  • Completes and submits reports as assigned.  
  • Maintain filing system for cases, letters, memos, and reports regarding cases.
  • Promotes and maintains a high level of customer service ensuring that client’s needs are met.
  • Promotes and maintains safety culture for staff and clients.
  • Regular attendance.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts as a liaison between the organization, disaster case managers and funders roundtable.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate’s degree in social work, human services or a related field and previous case management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common policies and procedures and financial reports.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, partner agencies or funders.
  • Ability to effectively present information to public groups, and the unmet needs committee and funders roundtable.  

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to read add, subtract and multiply.

  • Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Access to an insured vehicle and a valid driver's license.
